Title: Software Developer
Location: Denver, CO
Hours of Work: Full-Time
Job Description: POWER’s Geospatial and Asset Management Solutions team is seeking Software Developers to join our team of industry experts as we continue building for the future!

Primary Roles and Responsibilities:
*Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where there are opportunities to work with a wide variety of multi-disciplined project teams that involve our internal staff along with resources from other POWER Engineer’s business units, business partners, and client teams
*Interface with a diverse customer base to understand and document requirements, develop robust software designs, and construct innovative software solutions
*Work with the team to develop and continuously improve the development process, standards, and tools

Experience, Skills and Knowledge:
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access
*At least 2 years of work experience in object oriented software development using Visual Studio .NET C#
*Familiarity with Esri ArcGIS software and Team Foundation Server
*Desired (but not required) experience includes: HTML5, Silverlight, SQL Server Reporting Services, SQL programming with SQL Server and/or Oracle databases, basic database administration skills, XML, Windows Communication Foundation Web Service programming, ArcGIS ArcObjects programming, and mobile application development experience

Education:
Candidates should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or a similar degree that focuses on software development skills.
