POWER moves Boston regional office to larger quarters
Staff provides services supporting power industry projects
HAILEY, Idaho (Dec. 19, 2018) ‒ The Boston regional office of POWER Engineers Incorporated (POWER) is moving to new, larger office space at 2 Hampshire Street, Suite 301, Foxborough, Massachusetts.
Employees will be in their new surroundings beginning January 14. The employees support power industry projects with services including engineering, procurement and construction, substations, project management, environmental, underground transmission and distribution.
“Because of the growth of our business, we needed to find more space to enable our staff to continue delivering the same high-quality services that our clients have come to expect from POWER,” said Andy Alexiades, POWER senior program manager. “Our current office had simply become too small.” The new space will have around 20,000 square feet, about double the current space.
The new location offers a conference center, more parking and is closer to several restaurants and hotels.
POWER originally opened a temporary office in North Attleboro in 2008, which was shared with two clients. That office supported the New England East-West Solution (NEEWS) program, a suite of electric transmission projects that together comprised the largest improvement to the New England electric grid in many years. The NEEWS projects took a decade to plan, design and construct. The Idaho-based engineering consultant later made its temporary Boston quarters a permanent regional office.
Office phone numbers will stay the same: main: 774-643-1800, fax: 774-643-1899. The new office is about 7 miles north of the present location in North Attleboro and near the I-95 and I-495 interchange.
