POWER completed a five-year task order contract with the U.S. Department of State to provide design, procurement, installation, testing, commissioning and start-up services for electrical infrastructure projects at US embassy sites world-wide.  POWER also provides on-site training of embassy personnel to ensure they are capable of operating and maintaining the new electrical equipment.

The POWER team traveled to the embassy sites to provide on-site surveys of projects and evaluated the design-build requirements to meet the goals of the electrical infrastructure repair projects.  POWER provided the following services:

  • Conduct the Site Survey
  • Review the scope of the project
  • Engineer a solution
  • Identify the design-build team with the required clearances to do the work
  • Develop design, schedule and fixed-price budget
  • Procure the required equipment
  • Ship all of the electrical equipment, tools, and other gear to the embassy site
  • Send the team to the site and complete the work
  • Train embassy personnel on the new equipment.
  • Provide record drawings, and other O&M data

  • Emergency Generator installation, replacement or upgrades
  • Electrical Switchgear replacement and upgrades
  • Installation and replacement of UPS systems
  • Electrical system component failure investigation and repair
