POWER Engineers, Inc., Opens New Offices in Anaheim and Houston

June 2005

POWER Engineers, Inc. (POWER), a leading firm in the U.S. for the design of transmission and distribution systems for power providers worldwide, headquartered in Hailey, has expanded by establishing two new offices to provide consulting engineering services. These offices, located in Houston, Texas, and Anaheim, California, bring POWER’s number of domestic offices to 14; they are the sixth and seventh new offices POWER has opened nationally since 2000.¬†

POWER’s subsidiary, POWER Testing and Energization, Inc. (PTE), an electrical equipment testing, maintenance and energization company, will also maintain offices in the new locations.

From these offices, POWER initially will be providing environmental permitting, substation engineering, transmission line engineering and project management services for high voltage electrical projects. PTE will be providing electrical field testing services for facilities serving utilities and industry.

“We are excited to continue expanding in an effort to enhance our ability to provide rapid and effective engineering support to our clients,” said Vice President of Transmission and Distribution Bill Eisinger. “We anticipate these offices to grow in both size and range of services in the near future.”

The new Houston team is headed by Shayne Wright, who will be leading project management for a wide variety of power delivery projects. Joining Wright are Troy Ledet, substation engineer, and Rey Garcia, PTE project manager.

The Anaheim office is led by Jay Keeling, who will be responsible for project management for high voltage projects and substation design efforts. Also in Anaheim are Ken Reamey, civil and structural engineer, Doug Sharpe, project engineer, and Jim Anderson, field testing.
