POWER Engineers performed the feasibility study and selection of the gas turbines for seven (7) new 120 MW cogeneration combined cycle power stations located in Thailand. In addition to developing bid packages for the off-site steam piping, chilled water piping, and transmission lines, POWER also provided design review, construction monitoring and commissioning oversight services for the off-site works: monitoring of the EPC Contractor’s project execution and staffing plans; monitoring the EPC contractor’s material and equipment and site receipt inspections; monitoring the EPC contractor’s QA/QC program implementation; reviewing and monitoring EH&S plans; reviewing and inspecting EPC contract work for conformance to and compliance with EPC Contract and Grid Code specifications, standards and regulations; among other OE services as requested by the Owner. POWER also provided the detailed design, commissioning, and training of operators for each of the seven (7) industrial steam networks serving industrial customers. POWER also detailed design and commissioned the chilled water piping to industrial customers.
