4 x 1000 MW Ultra-Supercritical Coal Fired Project Using Imported Fuel

POWER Engineers prepared the conceptual design and feasibility study for the development of a 4 x 1000 MW ultra-supercritical power station using imported coal by sea to be located in Cambodia.  The scope of the feasibility study includes gathering the site specific conditions for the power plant including alternate routings of the transmission line, preparation of the preliminary site arrangement, development of the design basis of the power island and transmission system for both Thailand and in Cambodia, conceptual design of the coal receiving facility, preparation of the heat and mass balance and plant performance over the life of the facility, define the fuel supply, define the supply of water, identify initial environmental considerations, and develop project implementation schedule. POWER also conditioned EPC bid for site specific conditions, develop cost of construction and owner camps, provided estimated investment cost and operating costs broken down by fixed and variable costs.
