Client: Convenience Store Operator
When routine due diligence at a commercial site in Ohio unexpectedly revealed that the property was subject to Bureau of Underground Storage Tank Regulations (BUSTR) regulation, our team went into action.
Though no visual evidence of service station equipment or underground storage tanks (USTs) existed, review of historic maps confirmed the presence and location of tanks on the property. We provided environmental oversight during the removal of the tank and collected required soil samples. An on-site mobile laboratory provided real-time analytical data.
Through thorough investigation and timely project execution, the site received No Further Action (NFA) status and was approved for redevelopment as a new retail facility.
