POWER Engineers performed steam cycle optimization for gas-fired combined cycle cogeneration power plants ranging in electric net output from 120 to 130 MW and process steam from 10 to 30 tons-per-hours. We prepared major Power Island Equipment Specifications and managed the equipment tender process. Scope also included equipment vendor proposals review for compliance with specifications and consistent scope or equipment. We evaluated upgrades on the basic combustion turbine design and recommended preferred equipment providers by groups of common plants on a technical basis for the combustion turbine, heat recovery steam generator (HRSG), and the steam turbine.
